Shipping and Returns Policy

Shipping and Returns Policies:

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your payment.  As soon as we receive your order we automatically confirm stock availability for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 2 business days) we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process your payment it will ship within two business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provide when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within three business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at

Postage and Courier in South Africa is added automatically at the end of your transaction and is currently R65.00 to all major centres nationwide.

Rural and outlying areas will be posted via SAPO Insured post with a tracking number.

International sales are arranged seperately and posted via registered mail. Please email for a quotaion to your country and Payfast payment request.


Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrive damaged please send photos to and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

Cancellations & Refunds:

All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a R55 administration fee whether or not your order has shipped.  If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges for a cancelled order.

Please note refunds do not include the shipping fee as this is outsourced. Refunds will be issued to the credit card / bank account that you provide us with. 

You can return your order via the SA Post Office or via Courier within 30 days of purchase. You will need to pay for the cost of the return and email us with the tracking number for the return item. 

There are no refunds on SALE goods. 

Free Gifts are at times sent out with orders over R500- should you wish to return your order, these should be sent back with your unused return item in its original packaging for a refund.

URBAN Charm will not be held liable or responsible for any harm or accidental damage caused to people or property by its jewellery pieces and/or components. Please keep your jewellery safely out of reach of small children and animals. We trust our supplier information to be accurate and act in good faith. We do not carry out any gemological, chemical or other tests on materials provided by our suppliers. Magnetic clasps may interfere with pacemakers and other implants. Please avoid wearing your jewellery when operating machinery.  If you are allergic to alloys, please do not purchase any fashion jewellery with metal/alloy components. Please take care of your beautiful handcrafted pieces, read our fashion jwellery care instructions and treat them with care. Our pieces are delicate and not made to be worn during sports and activities such as cleaning and gardening. We don’t recommend wearing jewellery in water, pools, inthe shower or hot tubs. Be sure to remove your pieces before sleeping and when applying cosmetics, perfumes, sprays, creams and oils.
